Friends

Having a good group of guy friends has actually helped my pregnancy.  Seriously.  There's something about a pregnant woman that makes men(the good ones) act more gallant and courteous than usual.  These once goofy, farting, fun-loving guys have turned into sensitive and sweet gentlemen.  They actually WANT to know about my pregnancy and some have even glanced through my books with my husband.  I thought it was going to be a hard transition for Chris and I to go through but the guys are just as excited about this little bean as Chris and I.  Of course they're nothing like my childhood friend who I spend every-waking minute talking to about the joys and wonders of pregnancy with but since she is away it's nice to have them around.  This baby is going to be very loved.
