It's Been Awhile.

I have to apologize for letting things get away from me, but the truth of the matter is I was busier when I was pregnant than I am now.  Add that to the fact that I was miserable at the end, and there is my reason for not posting.  I will spare everyone the nightmare of a story that was my delivery and skip to the good part:  Chris and I are the PROUD parents of the most beautiful baby girl!  Roxanne Rae Lambert (known affectionately as Roxie) was born Monday, November 14, 2011.  She was 9lbs 6oz and 20 inches long.  If you're looking at that weight and you eyes are widening while your mouth drops I do not blame you.  It was a very hard and traumatic labor.  However, my daughter was well worth every bit of pain felt that night.  She is currently snoozing in her Rock N' Play as I construct this much needed post.  Anyways I am happy to be blogging again and excited to say that this site will be devoted to my sweet baby girl AND to my photography...Because after all I am now a photo-momma.  I'm not going to stop working, but instead will limit all of my photo shoots to the weekends when I can get a sitter for Rox.  I already have myself booked for a few photoshoots and let me say I'm thrilled to get back to work.  While I'm speaking on my photography I just have to give a shout out to the amazing Amber Wyatt, whose blog you can find {here}.  I do not know what I would have done without her during my pregnancy when it became very tiresome to do photoshoots.  She kept me company and ultimately sane while I toted around my Nikon and ginormous belly.  I have watched her grow into such an amazing photographer and it is such a privilege to call her my friend and now a colleague.  Amber, you are one of a kind!  And with that I will now post a few pictures of my sweet baby girl (taken by miss amber) and try to catch some rest before Roxie wakes up for a late night meal.
